Method
- In a deep pan, over medium heat, pour some extra virgin olive oil and when heated up, stir in the trahanas.
- Keep stirring as the trahans browns further and then pour in the water. It is very important to keep stirrnig.
- Cook gently on a low heat for about 10 minutes.
- Season well with salt and pepper and take the pan off the heat.
Tip : You can use light beef stock or vegetable broth instead of water.
Serve hot in soup plates or bowls. A quality bread is the perfect match.
