During the registration and processing of your orders you will receive automated e-mails, which will indicate the progress of the order. These messages relate to the following steps of your order:

Ιn process: Your order has been received and is been checked by the Sales Department.

In picking: Your order is been picked in our warehouse. Shortly it will be shipped to you

Shipped: Your order has been shipped from our warehouse and will reach you within the next two days.

In case that there is a need for further information upon processing your order, a member of our staff will contact you via e-mail, or will call you in the phone number that you have provided us during your registration.

8. Shipping and Deliveries

We can send you your order to almost any country in Europe.

Specifically, the countries we can serve are the following: 

All our goods are professionally packed for safe delivery to Greece and Europe.

Our products are dispatched via Courier Service (a package tracking service is available) and you will be required to sign upon delivery.  Delivery time is 2 to 3 working days for Europe and 1 to 2 working days for Greece, depending on the geographical location. Orders given on weekdays till 11.00am will be delivered to Courier Company the same day (provided that the product is in stock available). Orders given on weekends or holiday will be processed on the next working day.

If we are in no position to dispatch your order due to a shortage of products etc, we will contact you within three days to inform you about the expected date of dispatch.

Additional charges, such as import duties and taxes levied by the authorities of your country once the shipment reaches your country, must be met by you.

Please check the delivery address, as the company is not responsible for delivery to incorrect address.  The customer shall be responsible and will have to meet the cost for resending or returning an order due to incorrect address.

9. Return and Replacement of Products

 You have the right to return products purchased and ask for a replacement or refund the amount you paid, within 14 days from their receipt, in the following cases: a) Greek-e-foodmarket.com delivered to you products substantially different from what you ordered b) in all cases that the product you delivered that was defective. 

10. Cancelation of Orders placed

An order can be cancelled in the following cases: Prior to order completion, you can go “back” and remove the products’ quantities from your Cart. If the order has been registered and the products have not been shipped, you can call +30.210.2777993 and an authorized officer will proceed in the order cancellation. After the receipt of the product, call us on +30.210.2777993 or contact us via e-mail, explaining why you wish to cancel the order. An authorized officer will deal with your request and will inform you for all the possible choices.

11. Payment terms

Our e-shop accepts all Visa, MasterCard credit cards. You can as well pay using PayPal. Your credit card will be charged with the total value of the goods ordered, as well as shipping cost. For deliveries within Greece you can also pay with cash on delivery. Alternatively, a bank deposit can be done in our bank accounts, once you order has been registered in our e-shop, by depositing the total value of the goods ordered, as well as shipment cost.

Payment “Cash on delivery” (valid only for Greece):

Pay the total value of your order to the employee of the courier company who will deliver your order at your door.

Bank deposit in our Bank Accounts:

After completing your order choose the payment method through bank wire and proceed in making your payments by a bank wire (T/T transfer) to one of the following accounts:

Send us a copy of your bank wire by mail to info@greek-e-foodmarket.com    or send o copy to our fax No +30.210.2777996 and we will proceed in processing and delivering your order.

Payment through PAYPAL:

If you have a personal PayPal account, you may choose the payment method of PayPal. The PayPal window will appear and you will be asked to provide your personal PayPal codes to finalize the payment.

After concluding the payment your order is been sent to the Customer Service Department for immediate completion, therefore you do not need to do anything. 

Please note that the payment through PayPal services is subjected to some extra cost that will be included in the final amount to be paid.

Payment through Credit Card:

In order to pay by your credit card, please choose the relevant payment term in completing your order. The credit card payments are being conducted through the specialized electronic system of EUROBANK.

12. Order delay

Your order may be delayed for the following reasons:

There was a delay of delivering the product from our provider. We order all our products directly from the producers, throughout Greece. Although that we keep a constant and sufficient stock of all our products, there are cases that our order from the producer is been “stuck” during to its transportation to us (usually from the islands, due to weather conditions), resulting the shortage of the product. In such a case we will contact you and ask you if you would like to deliver the order without this product or to suggest another similar choice. We will send you the products directly after we finally receive it.   

In times of extreme weather conditions or strikes and in every force majeure event, that could affect the transport and delivery of your products.

In case that is impossible to get in touch with you, if a problem will occur regarding your order or its payment.

13. Indemnification

It is expressly agreed by this that in case of any alleged claims, demands, causes of action, judgments arising out of, or relating to any type of violation or breach incurred by you, you undertake the obligation to intervene to the relevant court procedure and to fully indemnify our Website in case the latter is condemned to indemnification or any other expense.

The use of this specific contract is governed by the provisions of Greek Law, directives and regulations of the European Law and the relevant international provisions.

If any item is deemed to be against the law and therefore null and void or voidable, it ceases to have effect, without in any way affecting the validity of other conditions. No modification of the terms of this contract will be taken into account and be a part of it, without being expressed in writing and integrated into it. The Greek courts of justice have jurisdiction over any differences that may occur in connection to this contract.
