The dried Evia Figs are a unique product. A traditional dried fruit made exclusively in Evia, from the 25.000 fig trees of the local variety.
What makes the dried Evia figs so special is the drying method. The fresh figs are split in two before the exposure under the sun and brought back together to form the "askada" when dried.
The dried Evia figs have a very thin skin, are particularly sweet and light coloured.
